Free Yoga!

I find myself confirming in my mind on Monday, that "yes, I have yoga on Wednesday."

I'm writing to encourage all you parent's who have children participating at the dance academy, to take advantage of this amazing service Kim is offering to us.

I have signed my kids up for many activities, only to fill up the time by running errands, or sitting and waiting. To find a place which offers something for the parent's is unheard of. What's even more amazing, is that it's FREE!

Next time, if you all have a moment, try the class. I'm always amazed as to how you can steal 60 min. of peace in our crazy days.

My yoga knowledge is fairly limited, and I find that Robin is very welcoming and accommodating to all skill levels.

"Learn How to Dance at Daughter's Wedding in one Hour"

Taking a dance lesson at San Benito Dance Academy made all the difference in the level of enjoyment for all involved. The memories made that night by the beautiful Father Daughter waltz and the Bride and Groom jig all of which was pure fun to watch. The wedding party then came out and did a group dance that they carried out to the guest.

Our D.J. told us he had never done a wedding where the dance floor was full all night. I credit the dance lesson. The excitement was contagious making everyone dance the night away. We will never forget the magical feeling of the dance floor that night.

Both my daughters really love ballet class at the San Benito Dance Academy. My older girl has been doing it for three years now (since she was 2 1/2), and it has always been her favorite activity. We've watched her develop into a graceful little dancer who really has a wonderful feel for classical music. She says she wants to be a ballerina when she grows up. Our younger daughter loves to dance too, and often pretends she is Ms. Kim! Both my girls just love classical music, and it is hard for me to play anything else! Many thanks to Ms. Kim, Ms. Chloe, and Ms. Holly who have all been our much-loved ballet teachers!

Our daughter has been a student with SBDA since she was 3 and has progressed from Petite to Ballet II. We can't tell you how amazing it is for us as parents to see the joy and confidence ballet has given our child! All your instructors are AMAZING! Their passion for the art is undeniable, and I know that the kids can feel it too! My little one's love for dance continues to grow every day and best of all, there's no missing that enormous smile on her face when she's performing on stage! It's priceless! THANK YOU for building such a wonderful dance academy!

Our family has been a part of the San Benito Dance Academy for 3 years and the kids have enjoyed every second of it- from being involved in annual dance recitals to the wonderful annual performances of "The Nutcracker". Not only do the instructors have an extensive background, they have a genuine teaching ability that enables the students to further their training in classical ballet, an enduring and beautiful dance form, as far as they want to take it. We feel so fortunate to have these amazing and talented instructors, and this wonderful Dance Academy, in our small community.

We feel not only has ballet enriched all our lives, but has helped the girls develop posture and poise . They carry themselves with pride in their accomplishments of such a demanding yet lovely art form. We want to thank Kim and San Benito Dance Academy and we look forward to many more years together.

My daughter Laine began classes here when she was 3 and I am grateful to have found such a nurturing, positive place for her. I am so proud watching her gain confidence and grace through her progress in class and in performing on stage, and she is so proud of herself for being "a ballerina". It is amazing how much she has learned already at such a young age; the classes are fun yet challenging and the recitals and Nutcracker performances are impressive. Laine's growing love of ballet is largely owed to her love for Ms. Kim, who is just amazing with the little ones, always cheerful, patient and encouraging. Kim and the rest of the caring instructors clearly take joy in instilling their love of dance to their students and have created a wonderful environment and experience for my little dancer.

When my daughter was 3 years old, her grandmother gave her dance lessons as a birthday gift. After a few weeks at another studio, she refused to get off my lap and wanted no part of dance class. Many days it even resulted in tears. I began to accept that my daughter would just not be a dancer. Unsure of whether to continue, a friend suggested San Benito Dance Academy. With deep reservation, we reluctanly gave it a try, admitidly with low expectation. Because of Kim & her studio, my daughter has now been a dancer for 5 years and continues to thrive both in her dancing, but more importanly, in her confidence and her grace as a person. Thank you will never be enough for all you have inspired in both of us!
